DO NOT machine wash or dry. DO rinse in fresh water and hang dry after use. Do not leave in a plastic bag or wet towel.
Due to the nature of swimwear fabrics in variable pool and environmental conditions we cannot assume responsibility for suits that fade and deteriorate. We recommend rinsing your suit in teaspoons of vinegar and 1 quart of water the first time to help set the colors. Hot tubs and swimming pools with excessive chlorine will wear the suit out more quickly. This is not considered a manufacture defect.
Before going into the pool, take a shower in your swimsuit and soak with clear water. This will help absorb less chlorine.
How do I care for my swimsuits?
Before First Use Only: Soak swimwear in a mixture of vinegar and water for approx. 30 minutes. (1 tablespoon per 1 quart of water). This will slow down fading and keep bright colors vibrant longer.
Rinse your swimsuit in cool water immediately after swimming in chlorinated water or salt water.
Hand wash in cool water. It is always best to use a swimsuit cleaner . It neutralizes chemicals that eat away at the material and extends the life of your new bathing suit. Regular soap can not do this. If you don't have swimsuit cleaner, use a mild liquid soap (NO WOOLITE!). Rinse well. Squeeze out excess water, Roll swimsuit in a clean, lint, free, light-colored, fade resistant towel and squeeze.
SWIMWEAR DO'S AND DON'TS
My swimsuit does not last.
Chlorine damages swimsuits to an almost irreparable extent. Swimming in a chlorinated swimming pool is effectively equivalent to soaking your swimsuit in bleach for a couple of hours. Needless to say, this is hardly a practice that encourages the durability and color-fastness of your swimsuit.
